Looking for some fall beauty inspo? Want to switch up your same-old, same-old? The hair trends we love from New York Fashion Week have a common thread: real-life potential, right now. As usual, NYFW showed off out-there runway beauty glam that’s fun to gawk at, but not so fun to try to replicate at home, but this season, it also featured some pretty doable fall 2018 hairstyles. You can for sure pull off these ‘dos without a hitch—all you need are the right tools in your beauty tool belt. We’re obsessed…

Here are our three favorite fall 2018 hairstyles:

1. Depart from Your Part

Slicked-back hair isn’t just for guys anymore. This no-part or super-subtle-part look is so effortless yet sophisticated and pulled together. Yes to all of that.

How to pull it off: First, get your hair iron-straight. Next, work a dollop of gel through the crown and use a brush or comb to brush it back, completely off your face. Finally, if you want to add some soft waves, you can do so on mid-length to ends. Depending on how thick your hair is, you may need bobby pins to secure the sides behind each ear.
